TRIUMPH OFFERS NEW OWNERS THE CHANCE TO WIN A BONNEVILLE-INSPIRED POPBANGCOLOUR ARTWORK
Triumph Motorcycles UK is offering every new bike customer the chance to ride away with an exclusive PopBangColour painting of the Bobber Black this summer.
Created by internationally renowned British Artist, Ian Cook, the distinctive artwork was painted using a number of unique techniques, including his famed approach of using a fleet of toy cars and motorcycles as paintbrushes.
Currently on display at the Triumph Factory Visitor Experience, the artwork has been commissioned as part of the 60th anniversary celebrations of the iconic Triumph Bonneville.
Every new Triumph motorcycle customer between now and 30th September, 2018, will be entered into a prize draw to win the one-off painting, which will be presented to the winner at this year’s Motorcycle Live show (17th – 25th November, 2018) at the NEC, Birmingham.
An impressive 2.4 metres wide and 1.2 metres tall, the detailed Bobber Black painting took two days to create, requiring 25 litres of acrylic and water-based paint and the use of 100 radio-controlled cars.
Ian Cook, Coventry-based PopBangColour artist, said: “I’ve been fortunate enough to work on a lot of great projects in my career but this is the first time I’ve had the opportunity to celebrate the anniversary of such an iconic motorcycle through my work – I’m really pleased with the final piece.”
