Product Description
1926 Harley Davidson – Eight Valve Board Track Racer
First seeing the light of day in early nineteen hundreds the Harley Davidson Eight Valve Board Track Racer is one of the pinnacle motorcycles in the racing world. A daring experiment by Harley to beat the competition in board track racing.
Harley went to develop a speed monster so everything that did not contribute to speed was striped from the motorcycle. This resulted in a never before seen 115 mph downside was the bike had no brakes, so driving it was at the drivers own risk.
Harley left the competition biting dust after winning all eight board track championships in the year of 1922. Most victories were achieved by the Harley Davidson “Wrecking Crew”. This made the Eight Valve the public’s number one motorcycle for quite some years.
