This book deals with the maintenance and overhaul of all 1936 and subsequent four-stroke single cylinder and vee-twin models, except the following machines: – BSA 1949 Bantam D1 125cc (standard and competition) – BSA 1949 B32 Gold Star OHV 348cc (for scrambles and high-speed events) – BSA 1948-51 A7 495cc (vertical twin) – BSA 1949-51 A7 495cc Star Twin (spring frame version) – BSA 1950-51 Golden Flash A10 650cc (vertical twin) – BSA Gold Star B34 OHV 500cc
The 1950-51 range comprising 15 mounts (all dealt with except for all machines referred to in paragraphs 1-5 above) includes a BSA C11 De Luxe 249cc OHV. This machine is except for slight variations in finish identical to BSA model C11. The Instructions given in this handbook for BSA model C11 therefore apply to BSA C11 De Luxe.
