Steve Hislop was one of the most successful riders of his generation with a talent that shone through on the most challenging road circuits as well as on GP-style tracks. For several years, and against serious competition – including TT legend Joey Dunlop – he made the famous Isle of Man TT Course his own, winning 11 TTs, including four Seniors. Most famously, he put a British bike back on top riding the rotary-engined Norton in the epic 1992 White Charger battle with Carl Fogarty.
