Once again the title was in Roy’s head before he had any idea for the actual composition, then on a day out at the seafront in Paignton, Devon, were two guys in leather rockers jackets having a cuppa at one of the, now rare, seafront tea huts. There was no bike in sight, but Roy’s imagination went to work and decided the ‘Leader of the pack’ would undoubtedly be on a Triton, one of his all-time favourite Café racer machines. The red framed bike used as reference was one he photographed at a bike show in Somerset.
