Product Description
Matchless 1920 Annual Sales Catalogue model H only.
With the growing need of aircraft at the end of 1916, Matchless turned their attention to the manufacture of aero engine parts.
They supplied large numbers of the War model Sidecar Combinations to the British, Italian and Serbian Governments, and also to the American Red Cross.
During the great upheaval, the production of motorcycles was greatly restricted, owing to the demands of the Minister of Munitions, in favour of National requirements in other directions.
Matchless model H was designed throughout with the intention of providing a complete passenger machine. Model H incorporated all that was latest and the best, for those years, appearance, comfort, strength, power and general reliability.
