As part of the museums specialist services we can offer a photographic service to those restoring a machine who might not have easy access to the museum or live overseas.
If we have the relevant machine in the collection this service takes the form of a series of images as specified by the customer which shows the particular parts of the machine in which they are interested.
The cost of this service is £25.00 per six images and can also involve any measurements that also might be required.
The museum has its own purpose built photo studio which is available for both media & public use.
Press & broadcast media as well as manufactures like Triumph & Royal Enfield make use of this excellent facility which includes a 360 degree turntable.
By prior arrangement the studio can also be use by the public for a variety of uses including special occasions and conferences. This facility also provides an ideal backdrop for our restorers service (see above).
The Museum can provide a photographic identification service for those wishing to identify a particular “mystery” machine. The museum can usually undertake this service free of charge to the public (unless extensive research work is involved) but a small donation is appreciated.
