Museum “Try a classic bike” Rider Training Days
The driving force behind launching The National Motorcycle Museum friend’s scheme was to give its members the chance to take part in some unique activities that are both exciting & educational. A perfect example of this ethos is the museum’s “Try a Classic Bike” Training Days.
These exciting events give friends of the museum the opportunity to ride a wide selection of machines from the museum’s inventory. Our training days are the perfect opportunity to ride bikes that most people haven’t experienced, from the oldest pioneer single speeders through to first exotic superbikes from names like Vincent!
Our “try a classic bike” training takes place in a safe “off road” environment and under the supervision and guidance of experienced museum personnel. A nominal cost to cover insurance* applies to those taking part. Click here for more details on future event dates.
*Terms & Conditions will apply as regards eligibility for training events.
NMM Friends Ride a Classic Day
One of the most important aspects of the National Motorcycle Museum friend’s scheme is giving its members the chance to take part in some unique activities that just wouldn’t be possible otherwise. Some of this unique content includes the museum’s “Ride a Classic Day”.
Saturday 12/03/16 was the date when 50 friends of the Museum attended the museums first ride a classic day and this film captures this unique part of what being a “friend” is all about.
