Collecting is a large part of the core work that we do here at the NMM, and new material is being added to the collections all the time.
We are always extremely grateful for offers of British Motorcycles, spares and related artefacts.
In the next issue of The Classic Motorcycle magazine (July 2022) there is an eight page article about how donations of motorcycles are so important to our work.
Due to lack of display space, the Museum will only agree to adding loan items to the collection if they are for short term temporary exhibitions, or if the motorcycle/object is of great historical importance in relation to the British motorcycle industry or (British) motorcycle sport.
